We take your privacy seriously, so you will receive a secure link to send photographs as well as instructions for how to take them. After that our coordinator will clarify your wishes and needs – don’t hesitate to ask whatever you want to know.

Choosing a doctor
We take care about getting great results from your surgery. We have a wide network of partnering surgeons and we are familiar with their work, allowing us to give you objective advice on choosing a suitable doctor. Our coordinator will consult on your case with specialists from our partnering clinics, get an expert opinion from two or three doctors, and come back to you to discuss the best choice for you.

Preparing for the procedure
The aesthetic surgeon will choose the ideal procedure and provide you a professional medical examination. Our coordinator will also take your medical history online, help you book a flight and hotel near the clinic, and arrange a ride from the airport with an English-speaking driver. The coordinator will also discuss insurance and financing with you to determine whether you want to pay in full or in instalments.

While at the clinic
In most cases you can have the pre-operation examination at the clinic. If that is not possible, you can take your examination results with you. On the day of the procedure your surgeon will go over all the details with you and the clinic’s English-speaking staff will take great care of you throughout. All you have to bring with you is any medications you take regularly, toiletries and underwear. The clinic will provide everything else, including food.

Recovery at home
The recovery period varies by individual and type of procedure. The aesthetic surgeon will explain what you should and should not do over the coming days and weeks. Can I come right before the operation?
Yes, you can. This is often the case, as many of our clients travel long distances to come here. The important thing is that we have a good understanding of what you want to accomplish, so it really helps to take the time to talk through your ideas and desires. We also ask that you send us accurate photographs so your MedRoyal consultant can get medical opinions from the best doctors available. If you like the suggestions they make, we can schedule the consultation and procedure so you only have to travel once. Another option, of course, is to come for the consultation first and if you decide to have the procedure, the doctor will schedule it for your next visit.
Will I save money if I contact the clinic directly?
No, you don’t. If you decide to work with us and we start planning the date for your procedure, we will ask you for a deposit towards the price of the procedure. Usually the deposit is about 20% of the total amount and lets everybody involved (mainly the surgeon and clinic) know that you are definitely planning on coming. If you would prefer to meet the surgeon before making the deposit, we can also set up a consultation for you first, and if you decide to have the procedure we can schedule it for your next visit.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Credit providers today offer financing options for healthcare. You can finance all or part of the cost of the operation. Please keep in mind that this will not be approved overnight; the whole process takes about a month. The operation should be scheduled so the financing is available on time.
