What is buttocks lift?
Buttocks lift is a procedure in which the surgeon lifts and shapes the buttocks into a natural, more youthful position while retaining volume. Loose skin on the buttocks can be troublesome especially when you want to wear a tight dress, jeans or leggings. During the procedure, the surgeon tightens and removes excess skin, subcutaneous tissue and fat, reshaping the buttocks at their current volume. Afterwards your rear end will be firmer and younger-looking.
Buttocks lift with a twist
If you would like to improve the shape of your buttocks as well as increase volume, you may wish to have a fat transfer buttocks augmentation. This procedure tightens the buttocks by adding volume, which women today appreciate. The surgeon suctions fat out of other parts of the body and transfers it to the buttocks, giving you more pronounced curves in the buttocks, belly and hips. What to expect
1.Before the operation
For two weeks before the operation avoid aspirin and other blood thinners. Discontinue hormonal contraception at least three weeks before the operation. Minimise alcohol consumption and smoking for a few days before the procedure. Ideally you should stop smoking completely.
2.During the operation
Buttocks lift takes place under general anaesthesia and requires a one or two-day stay at the clinic. The anaesthesiologist remains present during the entire procedure. The incision typically goes along the top of the buttocks or in the crease under the buttocks, depending on the nature and degree of sagging. You can take a sedative before the procedure begins, if you wish.
3.Post-operation
You may experience mild pain in the first few days, which can be easily managed with medication for pain relief. Keep to strict bed rest for the first week. You will need to wear a special compression garment for four to six weeks.
