During liposuction small incisions are made on the abdomen and hips through which special cannulas are inserted under the skin. Following this, depending on the type of operation, adipose tissue is disrupted by a special water, the action of vibrations, ultrasound or laser. Frequently asked questions
Can fat return/appear again in my problem areas?
If there is no significant increase in your weight, then no. Even if you gain weight slightly, after the procedure, fat will primarily accumulate in other areas. Only in the case of a weight gaining 10 kilos or more could the fat begin to be used again in the part of the body that we had surgery on.
Are there scars left after the surgery?
Liposuction is performed through several millimeter incisions placed in the natural folds of the skin. In these places, the scars will be visible for some time, but after a long time they will almost pull out. It will also depend on which type of liposuction method you choose.
When will changes appear on my body?
The first results will be immediately apparent, but the treated area will need some time to heal. Significant improvement occurs after 4 to 6 weeks when the necessary swelling disappears. The final changes are visible approximately 3 to 6 months when the skin fully heals and adapts.
When can I return to work after the surgery?
You may return to work after 7 days from surgery.
How long after the surgery can I do sports?
You can do sports 2 to 4 weeks after the procedure.
