Typical problem areas on the lower limbs are the inner and outer thighs also called “tights”. Another area is around the knees and under the buttocks. All these particular areas can be effectively sucked out and thus achieve harmonious proportions. The plastic surgeon we will help you select will first mark the areas for fat sucking. He then inserts a special cannula into the selected places with several small incisions in the area of the buttocks, groin, inner or outer thighs. Subsequently, it uses various methods to disrupt adipose tissue, which it sucks away using vacuum. The finished result is slimmer legs. The procedure is usually performed under local or general anesthesia and takes approximately 1 to 2 hours.

Frequently asked questions
How does convalescence work in the case of lower leg liposuction?
After the procedure, you’ll wear special elastic sleeves for about 6 weeks, which will relieve the pain and help with the healing. The swelling/edema and bruising disappear within a few weeks, but it takes about 6-12 months before the final changes in the contours of the thighs can be really visible.
Are there scars left on my legs after liposuction?
Liposuction is performed through several millimeter incisions placed in the natural folds of the skin. The scars will be visible in these places for some time, but after a long time they will almost disappear. It also depends on which liposuction method you’ll choose.
Is hospitalization necessary after the surgery?
It depends on the scope of the procedure. If you do not suffer from any illness at the same time, a small amount of fat can be sucked out on an outpatient basis. For larger operations, we recommend spending the day in the hospital.
